I am sixteen years old and the third born in a family of eight. I am homeschooled and currently in high school, studying hard using Abeka Academy. In August 2023, I started a three-year college program called Faith Bible Institute; this has been one of my favorite studies so far. I enjoy learning and doing school a lot. It might be kind of weird, but one of my most favorite things to do is study.
I also truly love helping my younger siblings with their schoolwork. I love teaching and helping them. I get to exercise my teaching skills as I babysit different children. Although I don’t babysit a lot as of now, I am very thankful for the opportunity when I do.
As we are all homeschooled and spend most of the day with each other. One of the biggest things I try to work on is my testimony to my siblings. I can have a big impact on their lives as they look up to me. Our choices and what we do in our lives now can affect our family and friends, for good or bad. That is our choice for what we are going to show others through our testimony. I love my siblings and want to help them grow for the Lord. Emiley is the last sibling who still needs Jesus Christ as her savior. She is four years old and not completely ready yet. I am praying for her and trying to show her a godly testimony through the power of God.
In June 2023, I started virtual fiddle lessons. I really enjoy practicing the fiddle. My goal is to become a very good fiddle player, playing in our church and many other places. As of now, I have a starter violin. I am so thankful for what God has given me. I am a big saver with my money, but one day I hope to save enough money to buy a violin from The Violin Shop. https://www.theviolinshop.com/
We all work together as a family on our farm. My job with the farm chores is to milk our twenty-two goats. I also feed and water my miniature horses. I enjoy riding our horse Freedom and driving my mini horses on my wagon.
My spiritual journey has been the most important thing in my life. On July 31, 2012, I put my faith and trust in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. I began a new life that day, changing my old ways into God's ways. He helps me in my day-to-day life. In happy and sad, good and bad, He is always there. I am so thankful for His grace and mercy. My favorite thing to do is study God's word and memorize the Scripture.
